The love for French wines arose in 2005 while vacationing in the south of France. The selection on Estonian store shelves at that time was disappointing, and the idea came to start importing these great wines to Estonia. My first collaborators were Château Minuty, king of rosé wines from Provence, and Château de Pibarnon, an icon of red wines from the town of Bandol.

• In January 2010, I started studying at the Estonian Sommelier's Private School, graduating in the spring of 2012 with a sommelier's diploma.
• In 2010, I became a member of the Baltic Pack EST team, representing my product portfolio under the name "Vins de France". I am still a sales manager/ sommelier there, and over time the product range has expanded.
• 2012 - 2nd place in the "Best Estonian Sommelier 2012" competition
• 2012 - "Vana Tallinn GP” 2012 "5th-8th place among 12 participating competitors • 2013 -place in the grand finale at the "Best Estonian Sommelier” competition
• 2014 -place in the semi-finale at the "Best Estonian Sommelier” competition
• From then on, I have been active in competitions on the other side of the table, i.e., as a member of a dignified jury. I have also been a member of the jury of the Latvian, Lithuanian and Baltic championships.
• Since 2012, I have been a lecturer at the Estonian Sommelier's Private School and a member of the school council since.
• I have trained both professionals and those who are just interested in wine, organizing various tastings, wine dinners, and wine trips.
• In 2011, I became a member of the Estonian Sommelier Association (ESA) and was in board of the organisation in years 2012-2018.
• In 2013, I was commissioned to write an article on the Provence wine for “Vine” magazine. My thoughts on the world of wine have been published in various publications about 60 times - "Edasi.org", "Edasi", "Vine", "Köök", "Oma Maitse", "Arter" etc.
• In 2018 and 2020, I was awarded the "Kalev Kesküla Prize", which is awarded by ESA and the Kalev Kesküla family to the author of the best wine and food article in the country.
• Among other things, I have visited many wine fairs, tastings, and trainings every year. I have visited 200+ wineries and talked to and learned from dozens of winemakers.
• This has been my journey so far in the world of wine, where for the last sixteen years I have been committed to introducing and selling French wines and promoting wine and food culture and responsible alcohol consumption.
